Here in Melbourne, Victoria we are still in Covid-19 lockdown. For the second time this year.
And with lockdown, comes a looooot of extra time to entertain the kiddos.
So we've pulled together some more fun activities from fantastic Instagram accounts we love (see the original 10 ideas here).
The idea is that you start with the ones below and follow through to the myriad of other activities that each of these accounts have on their Instagram pages.
Let's start with a couple of simple ones from @adelines_hearts_and_crafts...
If you have any spare paint colour samples from your local hardware store, the one above is an easy and fun one for toddlers.
And this face matching activity is just as fun.
If you're starting to find your toilet paper rolls piling up, don't throw them away.
Instead, use them to create animals like these horses from @bestestday_ever...
...or these fish from @trasteando_a_dos.
The next few will require you to do some drawing, but if you're up for it, these activities will be a heap of fun for your kiddos.
Remember, you can always copy the exact pictures and patterns these ladies have done...starting with these ice-creams from @littleoneslearn. Then, pull out the gloopy glue and rice for a whole lotta fun.
Next up are these gorgeous birds from @kat.heyes.
Here are the outlines for the birds and the wings. Draw them on a piece of white paper, then let the kids paint or colour in.
Once they're done, you can turn them into a beautiful mobile.
For the older kids who are learning to add up right now, this activity from @las_manos_de_mama will be welcomed.
This one from @cintaandco is a good one for those who are just starting out with their maths. (She made the flower in Canva and got it printed and delivered by them, too.)
As is this one from @conmamiaprendo.
Finally, this lovely shell creation idea from @minimadthings is great for creativity and fine motor skills.
And these are just the beginning, friends. :)
Remember that clicking through to each of the Instagram accounts above will open up a whole world of 100s of other ideas for activities you can do with kids of all ages.
Hope you and your little ones enjoy.
